Offset Printing

Offset printing is carried out by professionally trained staff operating an Offset printing process. Use of non-metal plates achieves substantial cost reductions, without loss of quality, and users of Murdoch Print can take advantage of these savings in high-speed Offset reproduction.

In preparing material for printing, it should be borne in mind that the quality of the finished product depends not only on the printing process itself, but also on that of the original supplied, whether it be handwritten, typed, already printed, or photographs or drawings. A crisp black-on-white original will give the best finished result. Colours reproduce with less quality. Some greens, blues and yellows reproduce very poorly indeed and may well need additional preparation.
